Leading UK airline, Monarch, has today announced its summer schedule for 2017 to Europe, with flights and holidays to over 27 destinations across the continent, signalling a strong intent to continue to keep travelers flying between the UK and mainland Europe, despite the UK’s Brexit vote last week.
This underlines the generally held view that, for the next two years at least, it is business as usual for the travel trade in Europe
Monarch has released over 90% of its summer flight schedule and promises to add more flights soon.
Holiday packages include family-friendly and “elite” adult-only hotels and destinations.
With over 80 routes, popular European destinations include Venice, Lisbon and the Algarve, Barcelona, Majorca, Malaga and the Canary Islands.
Marjan Schoeke, Head of Network Development for Monarch comments: “We know our customers like time to plan their holidays in advance and take advantage of the best fares. This gives our customers a chance to book to their favourite destinations and get excited about next summer’s holidays.”
Monarch flys from five English airports: Birmingham, Leeds-Bradford, London Gatwick, Luton and Manchester. Seven million sector seats are available to leisure destinations.
